What is foxydeal Firefox Addon?

It’s an Addon which discreetly notifies you if the product you’re browsing is available more cheaply from another retailer. The notification provides a convenient button which links you straight through to the relevant product page on the competing retailer’s website.

What information does foxydeal collect?

Foxydeal does not collect any personally identifiable information. To provide the price notifications, it records the retailer product page URLs which have been browsed, but it does not collect any information about who browsed those pages. No URLs are collected for sites other than retailers. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Why don’t I get a notification every time I browse a product?

One reason is that foxydeal doesn’t yet cover that product or retailer. There are lots of products missing at the moment, but we’re working hard to fill the gaps as quickly as possible. You can submit websites that are not supported with our feedback form and we try to include them.

I found a product at a better price than the one suggested by foxydeal. What’s going on?

We have no full coverage yet, but we’re adding new products and retailers as quickly as possible.

I clicked on a foxydeal notification and it took me through to the wrong product. What happened?

Sorry about that. Foxydeal’s product-matching technology is usually very accurate, but it does make mistakes sometimes. We’re working towards perfect accuracy (i.e. no mistakes at all!) In the mean time, if you get linked to the wrong product, please use feedback form when clicking on foxydeal preferences and send us a notification. We will try to fix it asap!

Where can I download the Addon?

You can get the latest version for Internet Explorer via our downloadsv page, or for Firefox via the Mozilla Addon Portal.

How to I install the foxydeal Addon?

Installation is easy. Just click here in Firefox. Once you hit “Add to Firefox” and restart your browser, the plugin will be fully functional. For Internet Explorer you have to click here, download our Installer and run it on your system. Addon will work after restarting your Browser.

How do I know if a website is supported by the foxydeal Addon?

The Addon logo in the right corner of your browser will appear bright red when it's on a website that it recognizes. It remains grayed out for website it does not support.

What browsers does the foxydeal Addon work with?
